Role of EY

► Complete a feasibility study for the DRRIF project and complete documentation (manuals and directives)to be used to provide a clear definition of the project, its management system, structure and activities based on the purpose and focus of the project.

► The goal is not the actual implementation of the proposed solution.

Goal:► To provide information on

absorption capacity of EUSDR member states (public and private sector)

► Identify thematic areas with highest potential to effectively absorb additional financial support

► Macro data: R&D expenditures, patents (mostly non-EU)► Unsatisfied demand for R&I grants (thematic areas / countries)

Approach► SWOT► PESTEL► Benchmarking (R&I inputs and

outputs)► Aggregate expert opinion

and grant schemes are most suitable and willing to cooperate with DRRIF

existing European, regional and national grant schemes

► Evaluation of feasibility for cooperation (geographical legal, goal alignment)

► Analyze potential type and level of cooperation (financial, non-financial)

areas that will ensure competitiveness and further development of Danube Region.

EUSDR priority areas and RIS3 strategies with stress on results of Analysis of absorption capacity.

► Obtain inputs from public officials, private sector representatives, EUSDR representatives, scientists and academics.
