Taking great photographs is so much easier than you may think! We’ve put together a guide to help you on your way to creating great gift ideas with your favourite photos.

Look for backgrounds which have plain colours or textures - remove clutter and any distractions.

Where possible, use the highest camera setting and save large jpegs files.

Don’t be afraid to get in close to your subject, a common mistake is having to crop the image you’ve taken.

Keep your camera still, sounds easy, but can make or break a good photo.

Learn how to focus on the subject you want to show and not something in the background.

Take lots of photos, experiment with different angles - down low, up high, close up etc and you’ll end up with interesting and fun shots.
