Ultrasound is an advanced diagnostic imaging tool used in conjunction with other diagnostic tests. Though primarily used to image pathology of the abdomen, ultrasound can also provide imaging diagnosis of mediastinal/pleural/lung disease in the thorax, thyroid/parathyroid disease, ocular and body wall masses.

Cardiac WorkupFor patients with heart murmurs, arrhythmias, or other clinical signs of potential cardiac failure, Lakeland Veterinary Imaging provides heart ultrasound (echocardiogram) and ECG evaluation in your hospital. Echocardiography is the gold standard of cardiac imaging that provides accurate diagnosis leading to appropriate therapy. Cardiologist (ACVIM) consultations are also available.

Radiographic Consult

Radiographic interpretation of film, digital radiography, and computed radiology are available for veterinary clinics in and out of our service areas. A written summary report of findings, conclusions, and recommendations is provided for the medical record. We are able to accept images submitted by postal mail, email or using our DICOM server which can be accessed through our website at: lakelandvetimaging.com.
