Lake Houston Dam EvaluationCOASTAL WATER AUTHORITYFNI performed a comprehensive evaluati on of Lake Houston Dam, including a Probable Maximum Flood update, breach analysis and Emergency Acti on Plan (EAP).

Lake Brazos Labyrinth Weir Dam RehabilitationCITY OF WACOFNI provided innovati ve soluti ons for this award-winning dam rehabilitati on project. The team combined reuse of the existi ng dam site with an uncoventi onal spillway confi gurati on, yielding constructi on ti me and cost savings.

Richland Chambers Reservoir and Dam DesignTARRANT REGIONAL WATER DISTRICTFNI provided all planning, permitti ng, design and constructi on phase services for this 45,000-acre reservoir with a six-mile long dam.

Toledo Bend Dam Gate Inspection and AnalysisTOLEDO BEND PROJECT JOINT OPERATIONFNI performed inspecti ons of 11 tainter gates, hoists, and associated mechanical and electrical systems. Following the inspecti on, FNI developed a structural model refl ecti ng fi eld conditi ons to evaluate structural capacity of the gates.

Dam Modernization ProgramUPPER BRUSHY CREEK WATER CONTROL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (WCID)FNI completed evaluati on and modernizati on of 23 dams, including 21 high-hazard dams. This project required close coordinati on with the community at both local and state levels for successful constructi on implementati on.
