Yoga: Mindful movement yoga classes are hatha/vinyassa style that build strength, balance and flexibility. Piloxing: Cardio fusion of Pilates, Boxing and Dance. A high energy workout that burns calories, builds lean muscles and increases stamina. Barre: Small, isometric exercises build a strong core and sculpt legs and arms while burning fat through cardio. Brent and Judy Klopfenstein

Brent and Judy, owners and directors of the Dallas Ballet Center since 1987, are committed to creating a positive learning environment while maintaining the highest technical standards of dance. Dallas Ballet Center is staffed by nurturing and caring faculty, professionals in each of their own disciplines, who encourage students to excel to their full potential. Dallas Ballet Center is the official school of the Dallas Ballet Company, founded in 1989 to provide a career pathway in the performing arts for young dancers. Each year, Brent and Judy have offered students performing opportunities of the highest quality for the benefit of their dance education and stage experience and also for their development as future arts patrons.

BALLET PROGRAM

TAP & JAZZ PROGRAM

Dallas Ballet Center, under the direction of Brent and Judy Klopfenstein, offers a ballet program designed to encourage students to enjoy the art and discipline of ballet, whether they are very young or aspiring, pre-professional dancers. Productions of professional quality allow students to participate in and perform the classics. Some of the ballets which DBC has produced are: The Nutcracker (performed annually with Dallas Ballet Company), Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty,Swan Lake, Pineapple Poll, La Boutique Fantasque, Graduation Ball, La Fille mal Gardee, Raymonda, Le Corsaire, and Don Quixote.

ENROLLMENT FEE: $50 Individual / $75 FamilyPERFORMANCE FEE: $60 Individual / $80 FamilyCOSTUME FEE: TBD PAYMENT PLANS:Option A: Single installment (September 1)—5% discountOption B: Two installments (September 1 and January 15)—5% discountOption C: Nine equal installments, due the first of each month.Tuition is based on a class season of 9 months.

LATE FEES: Tuition is due on the first of each month. A $15.00 late fee will be charged after the tenth of each month.

Dallas Ballet Center has many classes to offer students who are interested in tap and jazz. Under the direction of Peggy McCaslin, the tap & jazz division receives a solid technical foundation. Classes are fun and fast-paced, and are offered to students ages 5+ in tap and ages 7+ in jazz. The DBC Tap Connection (by audition only) performs at several events during the year.

Dallas Ballet Center is pleased to offer a separate Boys’ Program for ages eight and up. Under the direction of Brent Klopfenstein, boys receive instruction in strengthening, coordination, and flexibility based upon the technique of ballet. This high-energy class is geared for active young boys.
