Daisy Chain is a unique charity that addresses the needs of children on the autistic spectrum and their families. The charity provides a range of services, including support and activity groups for the whole family from our 5.5 acre farm in Norton.

We work with our children in a safe, fun and friendly environment, teaching them new skills to help them deal with life outside Daisy Chain.

Our parents and carers are given the opportunity to receive additional support, get some respite and talk to people who are in the same situation as them.

Ultimately our goal is to further expand our provision and build a specialist overnight facility which can accommodate children providing much needed respite to their families.

Daisy Chain receives no formal funding and relies on the support of business, the community and individuals. With more than 1 in 100 people in the UK diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) we provide vital support to families in the North East who are struggling to deal with the daily issues of raising and supporting a child with ASC.

Uniquely, we are in a position to offer individuals and groups the opportunity to come and work

with us, on site at the farm, and see first hand the vital work that we do with our families and the positive impact the activities that we provide has on our children. We believe that Daisy Chain makes a demonstrable, significant and sustainable difference to the lives of families across the North East.

Our families believe in us – we are their lifeline.
