INTRO

• On a regular day in our country most people work from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. School often starts at 8:00 AM and finishes at 1:00 PM.

Let’s Start from the morning…

Good Morning!

• The morning in my country is full of life. People are on the way to work, kids are on their way to school. It’s the same every day, except for Sundays and Saturdays. The streets are very crowded during the weekend! (I’m just kidding, not in Poland).

THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY

The middle of the day in Poland is pretty busy, but not as much as the morning, because many people are at work. Many Poles work as accountants, directors and other proffesions that work behind desks. Some people work at shops, as well as other small businesses, schools, hospitals etc. Kids are all (hopefully) at school at that time.

And now the evening…

A typical evening in Poland

• In the evening it’s very quiet. Most people are at home. If they’re not, they are at clubs, restaurants, bars and cinemas.

Food in Poland

In Poland the food is very delicious! We have traditional food like pork chop, chicken soup, golabki*, pierogi and many others. We have regional food, that you could only see in specific regions. Well, and sadly, we also have fast food like McDonald’s. :/

Pierogi- traditional Polish food. Golabki Typical Polish pork chop

*Golabki- minced meat wrapped in cabbage leaves with tomato sauce.
