1.1.4 Able to talk about a stimulus with guidance.
Objective(s) : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
1. Tell the name of the food based on the pictures and categorize the food correctly.
2. Identify the food based on a picture and tell whether the food is healthy or unhealthy.
Teaching Aid(s) : Word cards, empty charts, mah-jong paper, picture cards, Lucky Pot, “Healthy” and “Unhealthy” baskets, worksheets
and letter.

food that they sell”

1) The name of the
restaurant is KFC.
2) They sell fried chicken.

1) Teacher greets the students and tells the students that they are
going to mix and match the restaurant and the food that they sell
“Mix and Match” (Appendix A).
2) After matching the pictures, teacher selects four students to
come forward. Each student is given a word card (Appendix B)
and they are asked to label the name of food correctly.

vocabularies “Food We
Eat!”
1) Teacher puts on the empty charts with label of the food namely
fruits, bread and cereals, desserts, drinks, vegetables, meat and
fish (Appendix C) on the board.
