G20 HANGZHOU SUMMIT

Background

In September 2016, the G20 summit was held in Hangzhou. As

one of the most important international conference, it has the

highest level of security requirements.

Product & Solution

As the core guarantee security supplier, Dahua provided more

than 20,000 sets of equipment, 600 people protection team, the

vehicle large data, portrait recognition, video relay, flat

scheduling, household registration operation and maintenance

dozens advanced technology in the core area and the

surrounding.

Result

With 7 × 24 hours "equipment and system zero failure", to

make the G20 summit and the surrounding areas of the core

area, B20 core area and the surrounding area, West Lake

Scenic Area and hotels where leaders stay in, G20 theatrical

performances area, the city balcony, Xiaoshan International

Airport "absolutely safe―.


RIO OLYMPICS

BRAZIL

Background

2016 Olympic Games was held in Rio De Janeiro. The

government chose Dahua cameras to enhance the security of

the facility during the events.

Product & solution

Dahua provided around 2000 pieces of high-resolution IP

cameras and 30x optical zoom PTZ in this project. The

advanced CCTV system is designed to capture high-definition

images, and the cameras have embedded intelligence functions

to send alarm to the central monitoring station when intruder

events (such as entry into prohibited area, abandoned objects)

are detected. The cameras support multi-streaming such that

operators will enjoy high resolution live view, while recording will

get the cost benefit of lower storage size.

Result

High quality cameras and superior technical support capabilities

of Dahua technology have earned the confidence of Rio De

Janeiro government. The advanced CCTV system has help to

protect the facility and the people of 2016 Olympic Games.


APEC

CHINA

Background

The 22nd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting was held in

Beijing, and it requires the highest level security project with the

most advanced product and solution of Dahua.

Dahua 2-megapixel network speed domes provide high

definitions video output and long IR distance, ensuring a wide

visual range at night and other poor-lighting situations;

Result

APEC was successfully hosted and proved once again that

Dahua’s IP solution can meet high-level security needs.


CUTRAL-Có SAFE CITY

ARGENTINA

Backgroud

Cutral-Có is the second largest city in Neuquén Province, due to the

recent economic downturn and the resulting crime which has

resulted, on top of inefficiencies in the traffic system often causing

painstaking gridlocks, the city needed an efficient, reliable solution

that would secure the its nearly 50,000 residents and natural

resource infrastructure.

At the project’s core, Professional Surveillance System (PSS)

software was selected to design and manage deployment of the

system’s numerous speed domes and camera components.

LUXURY HOTEL

ITALY

Background

The challenge was to set up a highly professional video

surveillance system while ensuring the most absolute privacy

for the celebrity guests.

Product & solution

Dahua’s Eco-Savvy 2.0 series camera features a 4-megapixel

progressive-scan CMOS can help users to get more precise

video analysis, high quality images and greater security

efficiency. Dahua also upgrades the NVRs to NVR6000 which

supports max 128 channel IP cameras input with 1080P real-

time live view, and provides smooth video streams. Moreover,

the hotel has simultaneously installed Dahua VDP system for

the modern intelligent villa.

Result

The proper use of Dahua products in Ville d’Este has proven to

be a great success, which will encourage the installation of

Dahua products to serve more customers in hospitality field.


PERUVIAN LAN AIRLINE PREMISES

PERU

Background

LAN airline wants its office and airplane maintenance center

be covered by Dahua solution to keep customers' airplanes

flying safely with regular management and operation.

However, it needs to avoid using too many cables nor

wireless antennas because it may generate electronic

jamming.

Product & solution

Dahua team suggested using a hybrid solution — a

combination of AP (access points) and wire transmission —

wirelessly transmit the camera data to inter-connected sub-

centers, and then cable-transmit to the control room.

Result

For LAN airline, the implementation went great and the

products are in very good performance. For Dahua, this

project deepened insight and practical experience towards

airport projects.


INTELLIGENT TRAFFIC SYSTEM

POLAND

Background

Because of cities expansion in Poland, its urban inner highway,

as the transport backbone, is facing the problem of traffic

congestion. In order to better manage the city traffic needs and

reduce congestion, the local authority decided to use intelligent

traffic system (ITS) to better improve traffic and also people can

have better efficiency of their work and life.

The adopted ITS systems integrate Automatic Number Plate

Recognition (ANPRs), red light enforcement, speed systems,

green waves as a whole in order to regulate driving behaviors

and fight against traffic jams.

Result

With Dahua's high quality product and services, the projects has

been operating with high stability. It works to greatly facilitate

cities’ traffic, enable better life, smarter and more efficient city.


LULU MALL

OMAN

Background

This is the first time that Dahua and China Communications

Services have cooperated for an entire CCTV project to secure

Lulu Hypermarket in Oman which is s one of the largest retail

chains in Asia and is the biggest in Middle East.

Product & solution

Dahua provided HDCVI Professional series products with the

features of reliable long-distance HD transmission at lower cost

to secure Lulu Hypermarket with cooperation from its system

integrator China Communications Services.

Result

Dahua appreciated the teamwork with China Communications

Services, which made the project successful and was happily

accepted by Lulu Hypermarket, and looked forward continue

cooperation with each other in more mutually beneficial project.


DOUBLE TREE by HILTON

CHILE

Background

DoubleTree by Hilton is an American hotel chain. It is part of

Hilton Worldwide. DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Santiago-

Vitacurais centrally located within developed commercial and

financial district in Santiago.

Product & solution

Dahua provided IP solution which offers a highly reliable and

cost effective method of hotel surveillance, including Dahua HD

network small IR dome cameras, IPC-HDW4100S features 1.3-

Megapixel progressive scan Aptina CMOS and supports up to

max 25/[email protected]&720P encoding.

Result

DoubleTree by Hilton understands that doing the little things

comprehensive product portfolio for hotel surveillance system

PUBLIC TRANSPORT of GUADALAJARA

Background

Guadalajara is the capital and largest city of the Mexican state of

Jalisco, and the seat of the municipality of Guadalajara. Mexico's

fourth most populous municipality is reported to be challenged

by crimes.

Dahua plays a vital role in protecting drivers and passengers on

buses in Guadalajara by providing more than 1,250 pieces of

security equipment for over 5,000 buses. This equipment

includes:

Coast in Pescara, is of significance for the trading and tourism

around the region.

Taking the joint effort with Videotrend s.r.l — Dahua’s distributor

successfully secured the Pescara port.


BRAZIL'S PRESIDENTIAL PALACE

Background

The Palácio do Planalto is the official workplace of the President of

Brazil.It is located in the national capital of Brasília which built in

1960. It is a solemn and sacred place with a long history. In order to

adequately secure such an important place, Dahua upgraded the IP

Cameras and DVRs according its particularity.

The project is intended to replace the aging analog cameras with HD

IP Camera while keeping part of the original analog surveillance

system.

For such an extremely important place like Presidential Palace, it

Background

AB DNB Bank is part of Norway’s largest financial services

group. In order to safeguard customers, employees and assets,

AB DNB bank decides to level up its security system, including

its26 branches throughout Lithuania.

Product & solution

Dahua network camera features high resolution of the camera

images. It features better compression performance to transmit

image data efficiently and to reduce storage requirements.

Background

The Brazil government started to launch a national safe city

project years ago, and Dahua was one of the brand that used in

the security deployment in over 100 cities

Product & solution

The products and deployment are required to be different and to-

the-actual-condition under the goal of two ―M‖s — to minimize

crimes and maximize citizens’ safety. Cameras are mainly

installed at the crossroads, public entrances, schools gates and

elsewhere with high traffic flow.

Result

Dahua consider the project as an immersive safe city experience

accumulator, during which, we spent a lot of time in

communication and gave quite a strong support to make sure

everything goes right. The team reinforced our strength in an all-

around way, and learned to have more alternatives and

approaches to deal with a problem and then take care of it, finally

work out with a solution in a both time and money saving way.


DUBAI SHOPPING MALL

DUBAI

Background

Arabian Center, located in the southeastern Dubai, is a new

shopping and entertainment destination for local residents. The

shopping mall has basic requests of this project. The project

required that the images have to be crisp and clear; and the

cameras need to be in-décor; last but not the least, the whole

system shall be very stable and reliable.

Dahua’s Megapixel IP solution standouts among other brands and

offers a complete video solution, including megapixel network

cameras, storage devices and central management system. 342

units of Dahua 2-Megapixel Eco-Savvy network cameras are

applied, different models for different occasions.

Result

Dahua team was very excited when learning the news that our

brand was finally chosen for Arabian Center as it is a big step for us,

this shows that Dahua’s branding is based on its product

performance and quality and the branding is enhancing in the

region.
