Dalseong Park is located inside the oldest earthen mound fortress in the Korean fortification history, dating from 261 A.D.

Gukchae-bosang Memorial Park was built to commemorate the Gukchaebosang National Debt Repayment Movement which began in Daegu in 1907. The park has the Dalgubeol Grand Bell, Gukchae-bosang Memorial Hall and a path with monuments inscribed with famous quotes. Walking along the path of the giant oak trees is also recommended.
