A TV and electronics collection will be held Saturday on the south side of Honey-well School in the 600 block of East Semi-nary. The collection will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., with drop-offs during those hours or when the line is finished. The collection will be held rain or shine. Fees are:

Jocelyn Shields, 21, of Goodwine, was ar rested after police received a call at 4:58 a.m. Sunday about a vehicle coming into the city that appeared to have been in an accident. Officers stopped the vehicle in the 700 block of North Seventh Ave. and said Shields told them the vehicle had been in an accident but that she was driv-ing it for someone else. She was arrested on preliminary charges of leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report accident to police authority and was released on notices to appear in Vermilion County traffic court. Police are continuing an investigation.

Haley M. Edwards, 22, of Hoopeston, was ar rest-ed at 11:35 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of South Seventh St. Wanted on a warrant for failure to appear/battery, she was released on bond with a new date in Vermilion County Circuit Court.

Eric Smith, Hoopeston, trial rescheduled to July 8. Roy W. Jones, Hoopeston, failed to appear for re-straint of dogs by owner, found guilty by default. He was fined $180 and status hearing set for July 8.
