TECHNOLOGY, MAHEMDABAD
A REPORT ON ANNUAL FUNCTION – DASHABDI 2K19,
The annual function was organized on 23rd February, 2019 at D.A. Degree
education campus. The chief guests for the day were Honourable Shri Arjunsinh
Chauhan, MLA Mahemdabad and Honourable Shri Devusinh Chauhan, M.P.,
Kheda District. Students participated in a variety of events with whole-hearted
enthusiasm and team spirit. Totally, there were 26 events which included drama,
music and dance, skits, group and solo performances. Overall, 132 students
participated in the annual function. We had also organized a convocation
ceremony for the final semester students of diploma and degree. This particular
event proved to be highly instrumental in leveraging the sense of belongingness
and love and warmth for the institute.
The staff members contributed in all the sectors of the event, i.e. organizing the
sequence of events and facilitation of the entire event. The atmosphere was filled
with fun and frolic. The students were ecstatic and managed the show largely on
their own. They carried out the anchoring part also and that too very effectively.
The lamp lighting ceremony took place after the chief guest for the event, Mr.
Devusinh Chauhan, Member of Parliament, Kheda District arrived for the
occasion.
The major attractions of the Annual Function were pyramid formation by the
students, Shiv Taandav and Surgical strike performed by students in military
outfits.
Krishna leela performed by Diploma students.
All the members of the management along with respected Principals and our
chief guest, Mr. Arjunsinh Chauhan, MLA, Mehemdabad.
Traditional dance performed by girl students…
Dance with a theme related to religious sovereignty and cultural unity….
Rocking performance by first year degree students……………based on
contemporary dance.
The annual function also incorporated an award function where winning teams
were presented trophies and medallions for different games like cricket,
volleyball, etc. The students were awarded for their outstanding contribution in
curricular and co-curricular activities.
Also, top nothcers in civil, computer and mechanical engineering who graduated
as engineers in June, 2018 were also awarded with a medallion and a cash prize.
The most active and dedicated staff members of diploma and degree were also
appreciated for their efforts.
Students who had gone to Canada as a part of International Exchange program
organized by the GTU….being felicitated by the management..
