Señora New Mexico

One of our very own parishioners, Doro-

thymarie Beltrán, has been selected to the

second and final round of the prestigious

pageant, Señora New Mexico. She has

already been crowned Mrs. Senora Curry

County Latina! She is now in need of spon-

sorship. If you would be willing to sponsor

her on her path to Señora New Mexico, the

minimum sponsorship is $100 or more if

you are so inclined. As a sponsor of this

candidate, your business will be mentioned

the day of the event when your candidate is

Clergy Abuse

In an effort to more thoroughly care for and expedite the healing process of our Catholic brothers

and sisters who have been victims of clerical abuse, Archbishop Wester is requiring us to reach

out to our parishioners. If you have been a victim of clerical abuse during your life regardless of

parish or diocese, please call the church office with your name and contact information. Fr. Lalo

will then contact you to speak with you about your experience. Please remember that your

involvement in this healing process is entirely confidential.

Mass at St. Catherine’s

Masses at our mission church of St. Cathe-

rine’s in Melrose have resumed! The Mass

are being celebrated at 5:00PM and are bi-

lingual. We will be celebrated Mass at St.

Catherine’s until further notice. All are wel-

comed to attend!

Church League Softball Practice Our church league softball team/s have begun practicing. Please listen for announcements at Mass for dates, times, and location. All practices and games will take place on Guy

Leeder Field here in Clovis. We are looking forward to a fun and successful year of softball amongst our fellow brothers in Christ. We may have enough players

for two teams! Bring your equipment and your registration fee to practice!

We would like to offer our congratulations to those who

received the sacrament of Confirmation this past Wednes-

day. May the Holy Spirit remain with you all the days of

your lives and may you depend on Him to guide you

through the many challenges you will inherently face.

Remember, the primary ask of our heavenly Father is to

obey and live according to His commandments! Contin-

ue growing in your faith and continue attending Mass!

Queremos dar felicidades a todos que recibie-

ron el sacramento de Confirmación este miér-

coles pasado. Oramos que el Espíritu Santo

se queda con ustedes todos los días de su vida

y que confías en El para todas las situaciones

que van a encontrar. Recuérden seguir asis-

tiendo a Misa. No puedes pasar por la vida

sin la Eucaristía. ¡El único lugar para recibir-

la es en la Misa!

en la escuela, salón 1. Recuérdense

que esta platica es obligatorio para los

padres y padrinos para bautizar en

nuestra iglesia católica.

Oración Por el Día de las Madres

Amado Señor, en tu palabra, nos

ensenaste a honrar a nuestras ma-

dres. En este día tan especial, te

damos gracias y oramos por to-

das las madres. Acompáñalas en

todo momento. Pon en cada madre el amor y conoci-

miento de Dios para que se lo ensenen a sus hijos/as,

ya que no hay mejor herencia para un hijo o hija que

la de fe y esperanza en las promesas de Jesucristo.

Bendice a las madres cuyos hijos/as están lejos en

este día. Anímalas en la ausencia. Si la distancia

causa tristeza, haz que los corazones se unan por el

amor de Jesucristo. Amén.

The food pantry operates every Saturday of the month

at 9:00a.m. in an effort to help the less fortunate of God’s

children in our community. Thanks be to God, our Food

Pantry is now the largest in Eastern New Mexico! Anyone

interested in volunteering, please come at 8:30AM or call

Rosie Buchan at 575-309-5040 for further information.

We are in need of volunteer drivers for food box

deliveries as well as help Friday mornings.

The Food Pantry is in need of the following items:

Macaroni and Cheese, canned soup, canned meat, peanut

butter and jelly.
