Hello to everyone, I would like to be present today at the University of Vlora, and even the hall there was full, not only with professors but also with students, but the circumstances caused by the pandemic covid 19 as in every corner of the globe forced us to be careful and a part of us to attend this online conference. We are all aware that the situation is not easy, it has its difficulties and it is surrounded by many challenges. But regardless of the circumstances, I personally consider it very important that our good work continues, in particular, our projects for the professional development of teachers for a comprehensive system in Albania continue unabated. Here I find the opportunity to thank first the University of Vlora for organizing this conference at an unusual time as well as all the partners involved in this project funded by the European Union as part of the Erasmus plus program. I would also like to thank Leon University and Pavaresia University College, who also play a coordinating role in this project, as well as the staff of partner universities from Finland and Austria, who have earned significant merit and contribution in the implementation of this project. As Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, what makes me happy is the fact that Albanian universities are very active in the implementation of projects and the development of scientific research. Our universities have managed to efficiently, gain significant funding from the European Union and moreover bring very good synergies and experiences thanks to the cooperation and undertaking of joint initiatives with each other. Meanwhile, under the direction of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, as a partner of this important project, a memorandum of understanding was signed for the functioning of the network of centers for continuous professional development. The centers set up in 8 Albanian universities have as primary goal the inter-institutional coordination in relation to professional development in the pre-university education system. Otherwise, they provide not only the design and accreditation of modules but also offer trainers 'training in centers established near higher education institutions. So far over 2000 teachers have been trained and it is expected to train also thousands of pre-university education teachers. I am very sure that this project is not the first and the last and I want to emphasize all the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth to support you at any moment. This support will be permanent because in essence, all together we have a clear objective: guaranteeing and providing better services to students and growth and growth. All our higher education policies and strategies are fully in function of this orientation that improves even more the quality of higher education. We are providing this clearly with the importance we have dedicated to higher education in the 2021 budget, which is expected to be approved soon in the assembly of Albania. I want to stress that, despite the difficulties and restrictions imposed on the budgets from the November 26 earthquake and the covid 19 pandemic. In this framework, among many priorities, I would mention the funding for the improvement of infrastructure on university campus, student support with scholarships and reduction of the tariff. I just want to understand one time that they have done a lot of good work, but many even better waiting to be realized in the following. And here we are determined, but to successfully normally we need the continuous support of every higher education institution that I have very believe I want. In conclusion of my word, once again I wish you very success to everyone and I wish my heart to return as soon as possible the normality we want to continue together. Thank you once again for the invitation to the organizers and very healthy good luck to everyone. Thank you

Programme and is going to be held in Vlora City, 10, and 11 of November 2020.
This is the final event of the project where the results are going to be proudly shown and disseminated by partners according the conference

The conference will gather researchers and academic experts in ten sessions and nine rooms with proposals and discussions on some topics
related to the education and teacher qualification with new competencies in order to face successfully the new challenges of schools in
Albania and the European integration objectives of the country. The sessions will be combined online and onsite because of re stricted
