with points 1 and 5 set to zero (references).

With the Easy-Laser® systems it is very easy

to set and alter reference points, allowing you

to find the optimum adjustment values.

HOW THE MEASUREMENT IS CARRIED OUTThe programs in the Display unit guide the user step-by-step on the display

through the whole measurement procedure. You can measure in any prefered

order. Measurement points can be added, deleted or remeasured anytime

during the measurement.

Using Easy-Laser® measurement systems gives you the opportunity to perform accurate alignment, both in production and out in the field.

THE EASY WAY TO MEASURE AND ALIGNEasy-Laser® measurement and alignment systems are used by measurement techni-

cians all over the world, thanks to their reliability and ease of use. All of the parts

included in the systems are designed and built for even the most demanding workplace

and for easy setup on any machinery. The versatile design solves the straightness meas-

urement problems quickly and with precision for any kind of application.

The Easy-Laser® Linebore systems use the latest transmitter and

detector technology. A visible red laserbeam is the reference to which the

straightness of the bores is measured. Compared to older methods, e.g.

piano wire, the work is done much faster, easier and more accurately. You

also have the ability to document the result.

Objects up to 40 m [132 feet] can be measured. The detector reads 2-axis measurement values (horizontal and vertical), with a resolution down to 0.001 mm [0.05 mils].

SAVE IN THE DISPLAY UNITThe storage memory is very large. Up to 7000 points for geometry measurement can be saved.

PRINTQuickly print all measurement data locally with the battery operated thermal printer. This is useful, for example, if you don’t want to connect to a PC.

TRANSFER DATA TO PCWith the EasyLink™ program for Windows® (included), you can produce professional reports with both measurement data and pictures, export to spreadsheets such as Excel®, etc.

DOCUMENTATION OF MEASUREMENT RESULTWhen measurement is complete, you have several options for documenting

the results. Choose the one that is best suited for the situation, depending,

for example, on whether further analysis is needed or whether a measure-

ment report needs to be produced. The Display unit has an RS232/USB

interface for connection to a printer or PC communication.

EXPANDABILITYSince all our measurement programs are included in the software of the

display unit, the Easy-Laser® Linebore system can be expanded to suit

your special needs, both now and in the future. You just add the appropriate

accessories such as lasers, detectors and brackets.

SHAFT/COUPLING ALIGNMENTThese units has both laser and detector in one housing. Use the EasyTurn™ program, and you only need 40° turn of the shafts for a complete measurement.

SIDE SUPPORT FOR ENGINE (FOR D5 AND D75)For straightness measurement of enginebed plate.

FLATNESS MEASUREMENT Laser transmitter for flatness and straightness measurement of e.g. parting surfaces. The beam can sweep 360°.

The detector unit comes in two versions. A: Linebore detector unit with eight sets of

adjustable arms with eccentric locking cam and hardened, grounded support feet. Large

detection area: ±5 mm deviation from center line. B: Separate detector D5 with bracket.

Comes with extension beams for large diameters and extension rods for the measure-

ment probe. The detector is rotated and moved with the Detector slide. Large detection

area: ±5 mm deviation from center line.

LASER TRANSMITTERThe laser transmitters’ rigid design assures highest measurement accuracy. It also

comes in two different versions. A: One has three sets of adjustable arms with magnets

to fit different diameters. B: The other spans over the sterntube with a bracket with two

or three magnet bases. Fine adjustment of the laser beam in horizontal and vertical

direction is made very easy with the offset hub.

ADAPT TO EVERY SITUATIONWith probe extension rods you measure quickly also when the diameters

differ a lot. That also counts for the bracket extension beams, which make it

very easy to adapt for larger diameters.

The Easy-Laser® systems have evolved over more than 25

years, through field experience in solving measurement and

alignment problems. The systems come with a 2 year limited

warranty. The manufacturing and quality systems are ISO9001 approved. If an

incident should occur, our service department normally handles repairs and cali-

brations within five working days. This combination makes Easy-Laser® a reliable

partner for your business.
