The H40-FRV viewing head is perfectly suited for inspections of confined areas and in reactor components, under water or in air, and in low- light conditions. The key component of the dual viewing head incorporates a cubic beam shuttered prism with integral lights, which allows the head to view scenes from two orientations. Users can remotely switch between frontal and radial viewing modes and back again by either using the D40 CCU front panel or the D40 handheld remote controller. This new head combines the functionality of the axial (frontal) and radial (right-angle) heads.
