New York buying offices, Jeffrey followed with 20 years as the Vice President of stores for such store groups as the May

Company, Federated and The Allied Stores. In 2001, Jeffery decided to break away from the corporate world to start a

pair of collaborative businesses, decorium, a retail store, and d² decorium design, an interior design firm.

DAVID ANTHONY CHENAULT Interior Designer

With 27 years in the interior design business, David Anthony has made his own collaboration of

the Midwest Style and has fused it into projects around the country. His childhood was spent in

Colorado and Missouri which affords his work a warm and comfortable perspective, yet always

keeping it lux and current to compete with today’s lifestyle. David Anthony is passionate about

designing and it definitely shows through out his work and in his personal life.

jects span the country from a seaside home in San

Diego to the seaside cliffs of Maine.

d² decorium design has been around for over

13years, but David Anthony has been designing his

entire life. when he was 10, he designed his first

house out of a cardboard box, –the drapery was

made from paper towels and the furnishings from

soda tops, building blocks and other items found

around the house. This memory reminds him that it

is always important to remember our past –bring it

forward– and by the infusing of the two, excitement

will be brought to the project.

DESIGN IS WHAT WE DO Good design does not begin with the decorations – first we must architecturally

define the elements in the space to create a beautiful interior. As a designer, every

project is a unique opportunity to take the client beyond their

expectations.

Following is a small portfolio of some of my projects that I designed in 2012 and

2013.

won the “Best of Award” from the Northern Virginia Magazine as one of the top three re-tailers and small business in Northern VA.
