Luke 22:15–18 (NASB95)

This message focuses on what has come to be known as the Lord’s Table or as we

know it Communion. The goal is to demonstrate how the Lord’s Table and Communion is actually the Passover Meal that was celebrated by the Jewish people before and after Christ. Christ did not come to abolish the meal, but rather to demonstrate that He was

its fulfillment. It will show how what took place in Exodus 12 (the original Passover) was pointing to the work of Christ by His atoning sacrifice for the world. We will discover

how the entire meal of the Passover pointed to Him and the importance of this meal to the life of the church today.

Main Theme:

The fulfillment of prophecy, the Seed (Gen. 3:15; Acts 3:25; Gal. 3:16)

The Lamb (Ex. 12; Jn. 1:29, 36; Rev. 5)

The Table (Matt. 26; Mk. 14; Lk. 22; Jn. 13)
