1. Introduction

The StaCast project website is a topic of the Work-Package 5 focused on Dissemination and Public Reporting (Figure 1) and represents the first achievement of the project since this website has to be a tool for supporting the intensive communication within the Consortium and to ensure the dissemination of the public results of the project as well as some specific activities of the Project (e.g. the Questionnaire for Foundries and Suppliers).

The StaCast Website (www.stacast-project.org , see Figure 2) has been designed for the StaCast project needs with public and restricted area, including discussion forum for partners, questionnaires, general info, document sharing, administrative & technical databases, events calendar.

2. Website structure and content

This deliverable therefore aims at describing the project website structure and contents. The website has been developed by means of the Open Source software JOOMLA, as well as other Open Source modules and plug-in. The site considers two different information categories:

- Reserved information, - Public information, which are quite extended and articulated, due to the nature of the

Project. The website has no a “reserved area”, because the JOOMLA software allows the visualization of contents and documents on the basis of the type of user. A registered user, once entered the website from the "login" panel (Figure 3), has available both public and reserved information. The Public information of the website describe the project for the wider public: a short summary, the main objectives and results to be achieved, some references of coordinator and participants’ details, etc, as reported in Section 3. of this Deliverable. The website is a target of the Consortium and the project Coordinator is responsible for its development, maintenance and improvement in compliance with the planned deliverables.

The website is intended to publish world-wide accessible information about the project and to disseminate them at the same time. Today the StaCast website offers the following menu options: • Home: the title and the core concept of the project, as well as all the official related information have been highlighted (Figure 2); a Counter panel has been inserted, to monitor the number of contacts and thus the degree of interest associated with the website and with the project. • News: this area (Figure 4) includes messages and information concerning the public events related to the StaCast Project, press releases, Deliverables already available. This section will be continuously up-dated with relevant publications when available and some links to interesting project related websites and documentation.

• About: it contains the summary of the StaCast project as well as the official information on the related Call and Contract (Figure 5).

• Documents: it contains the list of all the documents published in the StaCast website, articulated according to their category (news, gallery, Deliverable, presentation, etc.) (Figure 6).

• Meetings: it contains the list of the Project meetings already carried out or scheduled for next months (Figure 7).

• Key Persons: it contains the list of the Key Persons of the Project (i.e. the Technical Contact and persons in charge for each of the StaCast Partners), with their official address and the link to their e-mail address (Figure 8).

• Links : it contains the list of the Official Websites of the StaCast Partners (Figure 9).

• Deliverables: it contains the list of all the Deliverables of the StaCast Partners (Figure 10), with the information on their Dissemination Level and Delivery Date. As soon as Public Deliverables will be achieved, they will be made downloadable as pdf file.

• Questionnaire: it contains the Questionnaire addressed to European Foundries and Suppliers, which will constitute the basis for the subsequent elaboration of the Standard and Guidelines targeted by the StaCast Project. The detailed structure of the Questionnaire (which is available, to facilitate the filling, in English, German and Italian versions) will be described in Deliverable D1.1; anyway, Figure 11 shows its entry-page.

• Gallery: it contains the collection of pictures and images from Meetings and Events of the StaCast Project (Figure 12).

Finally, the StaCast Blog has been created in the website, aimed at collecting information, suggestions, comments from the users (Figure 13).
