440V LV Switchboards offered are cellular cubicle type, constructed from zinc coated,

 phosphated and chromated sheet steel of thickness 2 mm. Outgoing unit rated up to 400A

will be housed in individual drawout cell of the Switchboard and feeders rated more than

400A will be housed in fixed cell. The door of each cell is provided with pad lockable rotary

handle which is interlocked with the controlling switch in the cell in such a way that the door

can be opened only when the switch is in "OFF" position. The board will be totally enclosed,

dust and vermin proof. The Switchboard is front operated and rear accessible for cable

termination. Incoming and outgoing cable entry/exit will be at bottom.

All metal work would be cleaned to remove scale, oil and grease before painting. The steel

work would be painted using electrostatic guns and powder paint of Light Grey Shade 10-A-

03 to BS 4800. 

Busbars offered are hard drawn high conductivity electrolytic copper, tinned and insulated

with heat shrinkable PVC sleeves.

ACB’s & MCCBs offered are type tested by the manufacturer of the switching unit. Our

 busbar system is type tested for short circuit withstand capacity at KEMA Lab., Netherlands

and also our offered switchboard will be tested at our works for all routine tests as per

BS/IEC. No other tests are envisaged in our offer.

The switchboard is designed for indoor use (Degree of Protection: IP42). Bolts, screws etc.

are of Zinc Plated finish only.
