Cyber Knights Cyber Knights are a small, but widely known order of roaming heroes who travel the world and bring justice and aid to all they can. They are beloved by many and stand as a beacon of hope in a dark world. Becoming a Cyber Knight- Characters may only be Cyber Knights by purchasing the 10 point advantage during character creation. Being trained as a Cyber Knight takes many years of tutelage at their monastery and this can not be done during the course of a normal campaign. Code of Chivalry- All knights are sworn to uphold the following tenants; Live a life worthy of respect, Live for freedom, justice and all that is good. Never attack an unarmed foe, Never attack from behind, Avoid cheating, Avoid torture, Exhibit self control, Show respect always, Obey just laws, Administer justice, Administer mercy, Protect the innocent, Respect women, Exhibit courage in word and deed, Defend the weak and innocent, Fight for your ideals, Fight with honor, Avenge the wronged, Never abandon a friend or noble cause, Keep your word, Avoid deception, Keep the confidence of others, Respect all life, Respect the views of others, Be polite, Exhibit manners. Psi Sword - The Cyber Knight's signature ability is the creation of a Psi Sword. It's a sword manifested of psionic and magical energy. I can be called into or out of existence at the will of the Knight. The “sword” is a reflection of how the knight sees himself, and it can be virtually any melee weapon of nearly any color (chosen once and that remains the weapons appearance). The Psi Sword does 6D6 Damage, Has a Penetration of 15, Accuracy Rating of 15 and a Defensive rating of 15. At character creation the Knight my Customize his weapon by choosing two of the following- Adding a D6 damage, Adding 5 Penetration, reducing the Accuracy Rating by 5 or reducing the Defensive Rating by 5. Legendary Reputation- The reputation of a Cyber Knight proceeds him. The Cyber knights are beloved by most common folk and most others hold them in high regard. A Cyber Knight will generally be welcomed most places he goes. Even nefarious sorts will often show a knight respect and give him wide berth. Dream Vision - Cyber Knights are known to occasionally have prophetic dreams. These dreams are often challenging to interpret, and can relate to events past, present and future. Member of the Order- Each Knight is known to the order as a whole. Knights all know a bit about each other at least by reputation, and often by past meeting. Additionally they all know Lord Coake as well as the location of the secret monetary. Though Knights are few and far between, they always help each other as well as enforce the Code of Chivalry. Mental Discipline - The training of a Cyber Knight emphasizes a search for enlightenment, wisdom and self awareness. Psionic discipline is required to create the psi sword and therefore many knights also go on to develop other psionic abilities. Knights may become Minor or Major Psionics with a 2 advantage point discount (making the costs 6 or 10 advantage points) Monastic Education- During a Cyber Knight's tutelage at the monastery, training of several skills was mandatory. During the portion of character generation when Professional Skills are chosen, the Knight must subtract 150 of his KPs for the Monastic education he received. This gives him the seven following skills at Base percentage; Literacy, Strength of Will, Horsemanship, Land Navigation, Large Melee Weapon, Civilization Lore and Hobby (Philosophy), a 225 KP value. Mystic Familiarity - Cyber Knights are naturally attuned to magical energies and may use Techo-wizadry items in a way that normally only spell users could.
