Radio; Ethernet; IP and GSM/3G Mobile for Carriers Worldwide (UK, Caribbean, Taiwan,

Australia). Responsibilities include: Providing technical advice to the Pre-sales and Project Management teams. Implementing of Network Management products such as EMOS, MV36, MV38 and the ServiceON

product range. Installing and commissioning ATM, SDH, Ethernet, IP and DWDM technology. Implementing Fibre Optic and Microwave Radio Networks. Integration and upgrade of 3G mobile networks. Software proving and test writing. Management of teams of technicians, engineers and contractors.

Major Achievements:- Trained other engineers to implement the installation and commissioning of a new technology,

achieving full ready for service, defect free network within project budget and timeframe. Involved in installing and commissioning the first un-repeated 3000km DWDM

network in Australia for Telstra.

systems between Mercury and Major Customer sites within the South West region of the UK. Equipment worked on includes DMC, Telettra, Marconi, and GEC radio Responsible for: Routing and rerouting of customers on the Mercury network and third party networks.

Mar 1989 to Apr 1991

Telecom Consultant to the Ministry Of Post, Telegraph and Telephone (M.O.P.T.T.) in Saudi Arabia.

Responsible for:- Contractors and the MOPTT, ensuring quantity and quality was consistent with roll out plans, and

writing technical reports commensurate with the contractors' performance. Expansion project as well as various fibre optic, microwave radio and earth station projects. A further

radio project involved providing remote desert villages with telephone and television.

Responsible for:- The installation and commissioning of analogue and digital transmission equipment at telephone

exchanges and repeater stations in the UK. Equipment worked on includes multiplexers and

fibre optic line systems Processing of data for digital system 'X' telephone exchanges prior to them going into service and

then the loading of this data onto the exchange during commissioning.
