2013- present : Country Manager France

Currently I’m acting as Country Manager of Poltronedsofà France.I’m in charge of the Commercial and Marketing strategy for the French market, of the business development in term of new point of sales selection and implantation. I manage a commercial team of 90 sales persons and 3 Area Managers and a Marketing Team in charge of the media planning, the communication strategy and of all the posmaterials.

Since I joined the company the Sales has grown of more than 50%

2011- 2013: Business Director and Content Mktg Director

Direct responsibility of a Media Team with competences in communication strategy definition, media buying and scheduling on all media (Digital, TV, Content, Print, Radio, OOH, etc). I handle the agency’s relationship with the most senior client contacts. I provide strategic counsel to clients and ensure their satisfaction with the agency. I oversee assigned accounts' financial management and give strategic input for digital and traditional media strategy definition ensuring cross-media synergies. I keep developing knowledge of interactive marketing/media concepts and practices and - relaying on media research, techniques and technologies - I guide the definition of actionable media plans that provide solutions to clients’ digital and traditional media needs.I supervise major negotiations with vendors including Publitalia, Rai Pubblicità, Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Microsoft in order to grant clients a first option on all new media opportunities. Direct responsibility as MANAGING DIRECTOR of the Sitcom Media P&L and of the Group Marketing StrategyResponsibility of the marketing research, corporate strategies in terms of product development, marketing and communication strategy with regard to television, publishing and new media. I was in charge of the Programming, Acquisitions, Development, On air promotion, Communication, and Format Production of 4 TV channels.I was in charge of defining strategies and developing the Group's presence in the world of new media and therefore managed the development of all web-sites of the Group (Alice.tv, Leonardo.tv, Marcopolo.tv, and Noi.tv Nuvolari.tv) and all other initiatives (Mobile, Web TV, IPTV and VOD) of the Group in the New Media arena including an e commerce portal.Sitcom Media was also responsible for the negotiation of agreements for content and channel distribution on video platforms (SKY, RAI, MEDIASET, IPTV, WEB TV, DTV etc.) and for the proposition of content and services to the B2B market. I coordinated a structure of 20 people and I had the responsibility of the product development and media budget. I also have the full P&L responsibility of the Publishing and Internet divisions.

Direct responsibility for the Publishing and Internet Division, aimed to the

management of the publishing activity and to the development of the on-line strategy of the company. The Internet division is also charged - through a team based in Italy and Singapore - with the responsibility of the international development of high budget multiplayer on-line games.

Direct responsibility for budgeting, product development, marketing researches, advertisingcampaigns with the management of an international budget. Support to the licensees for the development and the formulation of the marketing and commercial strategies.

I was in charge of the marketing strategy of the Group properties and with the management of the Licensing and Internet divisions and I have developed a significant experience in Business Development and International Marketing Strategies.

Moreover I was coordinating the TV Contents sales team.

2004 - 2006 : De Agostini Editore – Director of the Magazine Business Units Direct management of the Magazine and Video Division. Full responsibility of the profit and loss and of the whole business in the Magazines Area.

General management of a structure of 20 people; direct P&L responsibility and management of a Media Budget of more than 14 million Euro and of a product development budget of more than 10 million Euro.

I had full responsibility of the product development from the editorial and the commercial point of view managing the editorial and the marketing teams. Every year I was driving the development of more than 20 new magazines including add-on and gadgets ad hoc on-line extension.

During my direction, the turnover of the BU grew from 60 million Euro to over 90 million Euro and in my last year in De Agostini my Division reached a GTP of 7 million Euro.

I was also in charge of the development of the off and on line promotion and sales of the products through e-commerce sites (including the management of the product delivery and fulfilment)

1997 - 2002 : De Agostini -International Marketing Director & New Markets Director Direct responsibility for budgeting, pricing and positioning activities, product development, marketing researches, management of the advertising campaigns, packaging development and the formulation of the marketing and commercial strategies in the foreign markets (Greece, France, Spain, Japan, Turkey, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Holland, Germany)

Responsibility for studying and developing new markets and of the set up new branches.

I have personally taken care of the set up of Hungarian, Greek and Turkish De Agostini offices.

Responsibility for the development of a new Intranet Marketing Information System, aimed to share the information among the companies of the Group.

Full responsibility for the international media and product development budget.

2002 - 2004: De Agostini - General Manager Internet Business Unit Management of the Internet Division - for Italy and all the countries where the Group was active (France, Spain, German, England, Poland, Hungary, Japan) - with the aim of exploiting the editorial assets of the Group in the educational on-line and off-line channel.

BU P&L direct responsibility with the goal to exploit the Group educational assets through the creation and marketing of international on-line (SpeakClub portal, Sapere.it DeAbyDay.tv portal and e-commerce portal) and off-line (cd-rom, books, fascicle, etc.) educational products, including an international distance-learning portal dedicated to the consumer and corporate market.

Coordination of a staff of 15 people in Italy and 2/3 people in each local market.

Direct management and responsibility of the Language Division of ELEA, the B2B consultancy and training company part of De Agostini Group.

2000 - 2002: Managing Director of De Agostini Hungary.

As International Marketing and New Markets Director I had the responsibility to open new markets establishing new De Agostini branches.

So I have taken care - among others - of the study of the Hungarian market and I have establish the company in Hungary and managed it for 2 years as Managing Director taking care from the set up of the structure to the launch of the first successful products, bringing the business to more than 10 mil Euro turnover.

Creation and marketing of electronic and multimedia on-line and off-line consumer products in all the distribution channels (computer shops, electronic shops, department store, book shops, mailing, kiosks, door to door).
