I bel ieve that in architecture the scenario of experiencing and using the space gives a base for design and esthet ics should blossom out of funct ion. Chal lenges give a push to innovat ion and inspirat ion for mult iple beaut iful solut ions. I create ideas according to t imetable and f ind points of understanding with even the most complicated cl ients . I bel ieve there are many ways in architecture and see mycol league’s opposite v iews and ideas not as conf l ic t but as inspirat ion.

The client came to me with the idea of building a timber house on an existing concrete basement. He hoped to extend the floor-space, but didn’t know how. I proposed cantilivered rooms over the entrances, the benefit being some protection from the elements.
Inicially the client asked to leave a pine-tree and buid a terrace plus balcony around it, but after some analyses and wide research we disregarded this idea as the pine bend by the wind could damage the roof.
The children’s playroom is elevated above general level of the first floor to provide natural light in any time of the day. It also increased the view from the dining room on beautiful pine-trees on the site.

I jumped the lights, blast, a magnificent din of car horns erupted “dumb ass women drivers”. Mummy that man wasn’t very nice “no Anna he wasn’t”. We were now weaving through the Lincoln tunnel, I used the mass of my SUV to negotiate clear passage, I was late and today was the review of the ABRW account. Now remember sweetie to be nice, I know you liked your old kindergarten but give this one a chance. The heavens had opened yet there was still a glimmer of light streaking down the surrounding towers. That’s it, hard to miss, exhausts and pipes entwined with upward purpose towards the sky embracing a spiral lung of beating colors. The car came to a jarred stop as an electric voice crackled “welcome to park and mind, please face the camera and state your membership number”.
I looked around at the cast iron concrete, fins of reflections and galvanized mesh that spiraled in front of us. “Please face the camera and repeat your membership number”. A head lamp with a blue eye winked in front “one, one, eight, two, five Wa-terman”. “Verified please proceed to section C space 81”.
Piston columns blocking our forward progression cranked into the ground. The tires sung and roared as we slowly spiraled onwards. Lines of rain coated cars flanked the outer edge, fins of some giant fan built to cool the sun seemed to move below the wheels.
Through the mesh we could see glimpses children playing within silken tendons. Across the spiral through the heart DNA laddered walkways of light crossed from the realm of the combustion engine to the sanctuary of the human body, the two elements restrained through repulsion. Section C space 81, we got out into the cold and wind and peered through the ventilation ducts and rust too the city beyond. Above our heads great arms with giant nuts and rivets pieced the malleable flesh. We followed thee dribbles of pri-mary colored paint, which adorned the floors, columns and ceilings to one of the central crossing bridges. The light panels under our feet flickered and brightened as our pressure was applied and offered a single musical note. Anna at first was not scared but mystified by the experience. Began to jump from one to the other to the other to the other back and fourth notes jumping into the air above below notes laughter lights music.

The shape of the building was imposed by its triangular site between two cemeter-ies and a crematorium.
The building is a combination of cafe, restaurant, refectory, shops and office, all with specific ritual essence.
Lots of technical and other requirements for connection and isolation of spaces
turned the design process into a reverting challanging conundrum.
