Duties

Provide a professional tenancy management service, including:

Taking enforcement action to deal with breaches of the tenancy conditions .

Dealing with issues such as unauthorised occupancy, squatters, successions, assignments, mutual exchanges, requests for joint tenancies and non-occupation.

Providing advice and assistance to tenants regarding the tenancy conditions and their obligations under the tenancy agreement.

Undertaking Tenancy audits to establish occupancy. Carrying out new tenant visits to ensure that new tenants are aware of

their obligations from the start of their tenancy.

Working with support agencies, such as Social Services and One Housing, to ensure that tenants have appropriate support to enable them to sustain their tenancies and meet their tenancy obligations.

Taking part in the review of Introductory Tenancies and making appropriate recommendations regarding the tenancy.

Dealing with correspondence and enquiries relating to tenancy management. Advising the Housing Manager on enquiries from MPs and councillors. Maintainjing records of all contact with tenants by updating the Customer Relationship Management system and other systems.
