(Specialization subjects are, but not limited to, Advanced Law of Contracts, Compensation Management, Training and Skills Development, Labour Law, Employment Equity Law, Human Resource Development and challenges in the South African Environment, Compensation Management as well as Human Resource Planning Strategies. Appendix “A” I have an advanced understanding of HR policies, Statutory requirements in Terms of Workplace Skills Plan, Training Reports, Pivotal Training, Skills Development Levy’s Act, Employment Equity Act, Basic Condition of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Compensation Management and Broad Based Economic Empowerment Act. I also completed a Management Development Programme at UNISA’s School for Business Leadership pertaining to Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment. This programme covers calculations for each element on both the old and the new scorecard as well as documents required from an audit point of view. Completed with success and excelled in the Ownership Element exam. (Ownership is considered to be the most difficult part of the scorecard) Details of this are also available on request). Appendix “B” I have registered with CSSA (Chartered Secretaries South Africa) qualification in January 2015, and expect to complete this by 2016 Strengths I have worked closely with the CEO, FD, MD, Senior board members as well as Senior Shareholders of our company and understand the value of ethics and confidentiality. I was approached to train the EXCO members in the HR field as well as BBBEE. I attended all board meetings, (Exco, Divisional and Board as well as shareholders meetings). I currently run my own business, and have a strong understanding of company director responsibilities as well as all statutory work in terms of the Companies Act 71 of 2008. Passions Whilst completing my BCom(Law) degree at UNISA, I was asked to take on a position of Human Resources Consultant at both operational (manufacturing) and corporate level and it soon became clear to me, that our education system have failed the youth of this country in many aspects, especially in the rural areas. InterestsI am creative and undertook a 2year, part time jewelry making trade, presented by a 78 year old Jewish journeyman. I was taught all the skills of working with silver and semi-precious stones. I also was fortunate to have a small industry, making beaded jewelry and some of my pieces were featured in bridal magazines.
