Dear Manager,

I would like to apply for the part time position you have advertised. I am currently

working two jobs, I work for Mac in Brown Thomas every Friday 10am-6:30pm and

Saturday 8am-4:30pm. My second job is with Lynch Well Drilling Ltd. This is my

father’s business. It is a family business and the work varies as shown in my CV. I

have just completed a Fetac level 5 Fashion & Media Make-up course in Limerick

College of Further Education as of the 20th of December 2016. I am in 3rd year

studying Marketing and Management in Limerick Institute of Technology and will be

graduating in 2018. On completion of this course I will receive a fetac level 8 award.

Before I came to LIT, I completed a fetac level 5 in Business Administration in

Limerick College of Further Education in 2014. I received Distinctions in all of my

modules.

Outside of education, I have some work experience which you will see outlined in my

CV. I was brought up in a family run business, as my father is a well-established

Water Well Driller. At a young age I was exposed to meeting clients on a regular

basis. This has improved my customer service skills and my communication skills

immensely. I am currently employed by Mac in Brown Thomas as a stock person,

however I hope to gain employment in a position which allows me to express my

knowledge of makeup, and makeup application. I also worked for a company called

Vapourpal for over a year and a half as a sales assistant and stock assistant. I had

many responsibilities as it was a kiosk in a shopping centre which only required one

person to work there in any day.

Thank you for your time. I hope that I will be considered for this position as I would

love to have the opportunity to work with you. I look forward to hearing from you in

the near future. I am available for interview at your convenience. If you require any

further details, please do not hesitate to contact me at the following email or phone

number:
