Axon guidance during mammalian nervous system development, spinal cord regeneration, intracellular signaling pathways (Rho GTPase, glycogen synthase kinase-3, calcium). Growth cone turning assays, focal laser-induced photolysis (FLIP), cell culture, animal surgery, behavioral analyses, immunohistochemistry, molecular genetics (vector construction, transfection), Western blotting.
