Warhol Style Selfies

Marterials:

Photo of self in black and white (size 8”x10” works great)

Acetate or sheet of clear plastic

Sharpie

Acrylic Paint

Task:

1. Place the clear plastic sheet (or acetate) over the black and white photo and use a sharpie to trace all

major contour lines. i.e. the eyes, nose, mouth, shape of face, hair, etc.

2. Once dry, flip plastic over and use acrylic paint to fill in areas leaving some blank.

3. You can use another patterned paper or fabric to place behind the drawing to fill in the empty spaces

and create many different versions of you artwork

4. Share your artwork online and tag us @mbartmuseum so we can find it!
