How It Works

The RiteAire Marine™ dehumidifier system draws in moist air through an optimum low point in the boat. The unit lowers the humidity by 30% per pass.

The system distributes the dry air via the ductwork to the main salon, multiple staterooms, and other yacht areas. The dry supply air mixes with moist air and recirculates this moist air back to the dehumidifier unit.

The cycle continues automatically, reducing humidity moisture, VOCs, odor, and mold spores from the yacht air until the set point on the humidistat is reached.

The humidistat control monitor is mounted on the wall. The smart monitor automatically senses the setpoint. The setpoint is usually set at 45%.

When it hits the setpoint, it automatically shuts off. When the humidity rises above 45%, the RiteAire dehumidifier automatically comes on and reduces the moisture back down to the setpoint.
