The course contains eight pre-university level units, such as Introduction to Computing and Business Mathematics, studied over a period of two to three trimesters.

Students who have successfully completed the Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation Program (TPP) progress on to the diploma, which is equivalent to the first year of a Curtin bachelor degree.

Students must complete their Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation Program (TPP) with an average of 50 percent to progress to the Diploma of Commerce.
