CSI INTERNATIONAL, INC. – Fort Lauderdale, FL 02/2012 – 07/2015CFOResponsible for all day-to-day operations and strategic business development. The various entities specialize in commercial and residential property management, real estate sales and leasing, luxury concierge services, construction materials, cleaning supplies and book and magazine publishing.

Directed the efforts to move an unprofitable $14M division into the black and successfully brokered the sale of the business unit.

Over three years I generated savings for CSI amounting to more than an $8.5M reduction in operating costs. Formed a Real Estate Sales Brokerage subsidiary in Miami to take advantage of the massive influx of foreign

investment into the marketplace. Opulence International Realty (OIR) grossed more than $50M in sales in its first year of operations and is expected to more than quadruple sales in its second year. OIR is an upscale luxury firm which caters to the wealthy, and specializes in foreign nationals and professional athletes.

The list of my accomplishments, while directing CSI, requires multiple pages and I would be glad to share them with you. In summary, I would say that CSI was a massive turnaround effort where I directed the reorganization of the C-team, all of the company’s systems and protocols, their goals, controls, sales and incentive plans, insurance policies and risk mitigation, as well as, the restructuring of their covenants and banking relationships while expanding the business into more profitable trade lines and selling off the low margin business units.

VAYAN MARKETING GROUP – Boca Raton, FL 12/2008 – 12/2011President & CFOAs President of this interactive marketing services company, I was responsible for all staff members, processes, procedures and policies in the operations, finance, accounting, payroll, H.R., sales, marketing and legal departments.

Created annual budgets, strategic plans, monthly forecasts, financial statements, cash flow projections, tax returns, bank and GL reconciliations, while consulting directly with the equity partners and Board of Directors regarding all major financial and vital operational factors.

Performed variance analysis, project risk assessment, and legal compliance evaluations. Trained the accounting team on GAAP & SOX compliance and oversaw internal and independent audits. Performed legal reviews and revisions of all client & vendor contracts and human resource policies &

procedures. Developed cost saving initiatives, resulting in a reduction of SG&A of more than $1.8M (28%) annually. Drafted master services agreements, broker agreements, employment compensation agreements, terms of

PROMOWORKS, HOLDING COMPANY – Orlando, FL 07/2006 to 11/2008SVP National Director of Finance & OperationsAs Senior Vice President for this national in-store marketing services company, I directed all facets of finance and operations for the seven satellite offices across North America. These hubs employed 3218 employees and union members and also had over 20,000 field staff agents.

Directed the acquisition and integration of nine competitive companies within an eighteen-month period. The integration involved developing cost saving initiatives to significantly reduce inter-company transactions and processing while minimizing real assets and shifting responsibilities from the nine acquisitions to centralize processing within three strategic geographic locations. The streamlining process generated an 89% increase in output with only a 35% increase in staffing. All satellites and acquisitions were transitioned onto a web based consolidated accounting platform (Great Plains) and were provided annual budgets, strategic plans, monthly forecasts, and financial statements with variance analyses. Overall company profit margins increased by 14%.

Subsequently, directed the operations policies, procedures, benefits and payroll for all staffing in thirty-nine states.

Managed the internal development of a new comprehensive web-based staff & asset scheduling and tracking system that was designed to plan, deploy and track daily staff allocations and asset logistics on a nationwide basis for more than 20,000 field agents.

Administered workers compensation & unemployment insurances, union dues & negotiations, as well as successfully contested SS-8 IRS investigations, unemployment & comp claims.

BWX – NUCLEAR TECHNOLOGIES DIV. (A McDermott Company) – Akron, OH 06/2004 to 10/2005Welding Development Program ConsultantBWX Technologies is the sole supplier of nuclear power generators for the U.S. Navy’s fleet of submarines and aircraft carriers. As a D.O.D. contractor in the nuclear industry, all of BWX’ systems had to meet the absolute highest standards as mandated within the NAVSEA Specifications.

Implemented lean manufacturing techniques by revamping work cell space, rewriting and standardizing work cell software installing fiber optic connections, touch-screen type remote PC terminals and programmable welding power supplies which were interchangeable in any of the thirty work cells. This program increased productivity by 29%, by reducing set-up time and also further increased profitability by eliminating hundreds of system errors and redundancies, which had been a major cause of unacceptable production output.

Trained welding managers, supervisors and operators in the proper usage of automated welding equipment, as well as NAVSEA welding procedures, standards and requirements.

Researched and purchased automated weld cleaning, grinding and vacuum systems which eliminated down-time after each weld and cut overall process time by 50%.

Directed a multi-million dollar research & development program to formulate new automated welding procedures for reactor steam generators and pressure vessels.
