Have worked in OCTAN Division, a specialty division of NATCO Pharma Limited, Hyderabad as product Specialist for a period of 18 months from March 1996 to October, 1997.

Have worked in ICI Pharmaceuticals, Critical Care Division as a member of Product Management Team for a period of 11 months from November, 1997 to September, 1998.

Have worked as Associate Professor in Dept. Pharmaceutics at Vishwa Bharathi College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Affiliated t Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) , Perecharla, Guntur A.P. for a period of 9 years as Assistant Professor & Associate Professor from October 1998 to September 2007.

Have worked as Professor cum Principal at DCRM Pharmacy College, Sciences (Affiliated t Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) Inkollu, Prakasam Distrct, Andhra Pradesh, India, from September, 2007 to July2014.

Have worked as Professor cum Head of the Department for Pharm. Management & Regulatory Affairs at Hindu College of Pharmacy, Guntur, A.P. from July 2014 to 4th August 2016.

Participated & presented a scientific paper in Pharmacy at 47th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress held at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam from 27-29th December 1995.

Presented a poster at UGC sponsored National Seminar on ‘Drug Discovery & Development – A Need Based Interaction between Academia & Industry’ held at University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kakatiya University on March 26th – 27th 2004.

Acted as a Delegate for International Convention of A.P.T.I. 2004 organized by Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on 2nd – 3rd October, 2004.

Presented a oral seminar on ‘Dissolution Enhancement of Poorly Soluble Drugs’ at a National Seminar on ‘Emerging Trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences’ an Inter Collegiate Competition in Scientific paper presentation held at Vishwa Bharathi College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Perecharla, Guntur Dist., on 16th April 2005 and won First Prize.

2. Ch V Prasada Rao was awarded Ph.D. Degree in Biotechnology in the Faculty of

Natural Sciences for the thesis entitled ‘Physico-Chemical Characterization, Improvement of Dissolution Rate and Bioavailability of selected BCS Class II drug using modified starches, hydrophilic polymers and superdisintegrants’ in November 2015, from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
