CLINICAL ACTIVITIES
Dr. Zakzanis is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and licensed to practice within the province of Ontario in both Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology. Dr. Zakzanis is a member of the Ontario, Canadian and American Psychological Associations, as well as the International Neuropsychological Society, American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (Affiliate Member), the National Academy of Neuropsychology, the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment and is the sitting Vice President for the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators. To date, Dr. Zakzanis has undertaken psychological and neuropsychological impairment assessments, including catastrophic examinations using the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment. Here, he holds C-CAT(MB) and CMLE(O) Certification from CSME|CAPDA as a founding developer of the certification programs and credentialing examination committees and has moreover completed the CMCC AMA Guides to Impairment Rating program and is AMA certified in the 4th Edition. Dr. Zakzanis has also completed all requirements for the Program of Insurance Medicine and Medico-legal Expertise with the Université de Montreal, Faculty of Medicine. Lastly, Dr. Zakzanis has been qualified as an expert in Psychology and Neuropsychology by FSCO arbitrators and by the Courts in Ontario and permitted to give expert testimony on areas within his scope of expertise.
