o Reviewed the existing literature on caffeine usage by adolescents and varying other

factors such as teens’ perceptions and motivations for caffeine usage

o Met at weekly lab meetings to discuss and present articles that were reviewed

o Trained to administer focus groups and constructed survey items

o Transcribed the focus group recordings using the software program Notability

o Currently assisting in writing a grant proposal to fund a large scale research project

regarding caffeine usage by adolescents
