Postgraduate Activity:
Ten years experience in Clinical Pathology Department and Blood
Bank, NCI, Cairo University. I am participating in all routine activities
as:
- Bone Marrow Aspiration and Biopsy.
- Blood Bank techniques: Plasma Pharesis, Stem cell sepration, Cross
matching, screening for hepatitis, and Platelets separations and Blood
grouping & cross matching.
- Morphological and cytochemical examination of peripheral blood
and bone marrow of hematological malignancies
- Cerebrospinal fluid examination of hematological malignancies.
- Immunophenotyping and Flow cytometry using different panels of
monoclonal antibodies in diagnosis and follow up of leukemia and
lymphoma.
- Anti-platelets antibodies direct and indirect using fluorescence
microscope.
- Molecular techniques: DNA & RNA extraction, cryopresevation of
cells and PCR, multiplex PCR, SNPs analysis by PCR with
restriction enzyme coupled analysis in diagnosis of infectious diseases
and malignant disorders.
- Immunology: Serological tests such as Rheumatoid factor and
Pregnancy tests, TORCH (Toxoplasma, Rubella, Cytomegalo, Herpes
viruses), Malta, and Widal tests, Cytokines and immunohistochemistry.

University, Germany (November 2007): Including training on flow
Cytometry applications in hematological &PNH, Cell culture and stem
cell transplantation.
