2011-present GIS Specialist, Archaeological Illustrator, Project Photographer. Belize River EastArchaeology Project (BREA), Department of Anthropology, University of New Hampshire (UNH). Oversee routine GIS and database management, as well as special geospatial project development. Artifact illustrations and building/site reconstructions done by hand and digitized using Adobe Creative Suite Software. Photographs also corrected and prepared for publication (August 2011-present).

Created maps and figures for a variety of publications, including university as well as state and federal government publications. Field Experience2011-present Lab Director, Lithic Analyst, and Lecturer. In association with the Belize River East

Archaeology (BREA) Project, Department of Anthropology, and the University of New Hampshire (UNH) Archaeological Field School in Belize, Cayo District, Belize. Oversee lab organization and day-to-day management of incoming artifacts, as well as long-term curation, analysis, and administration of lab. Responsible for bi-weekly lectures on lab/curation techniques, archaeological mapping and GIS, lithic analysis, and environmental modeling. Supervise undergraduate students while in the field and on excursions. (August 2011-present).

2010 Training in Landscape and Environmental Modeling. One month training in paleolandscape and environmental reconstruction within the Rhine-Meuse delta and tributaries with Drs. Kim Cohen, Department of Physical Geography, Utrecht University. Software used: ArcGIS, PCRaster. 04/10-05/10.

2009-2010 Dissertation Data Collection. Nine months spent analyzing Mesolithic artifacts from the

2008 Dissertation Pilot Study on the Dutch Mesolithic. Six weeks spent analyzing Mesolithic artifacts from the IJssel River basin, the Netherlands. Desk and supplies provided by the National Service for Archaeology, Cultural Landscapes, and Built Heritage, Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Joint research conducted with Dr. J.H.M. Peeters (University of Groningen). Additional consultation with drs. B. Vermuelen, city archaeologist of Deventer and Dr. H. Weerts, physical geographer at the RACM. 08/08-10/08.

2014 Organization of “Open Archaeology Day 2014” with Prof. Meghan Howey and support from the UNH Department of Anthropology and the New Hampshire Archaeological Association. Hands-on experiential learning workshop focused on experimental archaeology procedures, including flint knapping, atlatl throwing, simple ceramic techniques, and ancient foods. 2013 Organization of the 2013 Middlesex Community College Cultural Exchange Conference. Geography students shared knowledge of geographic features of New England Geography and specific historic locations in the city of Lowell, MA with recently arrived refugees middle and high school students from Burma. In exchange, the Burmese students performed dances from their homelands and shared about their traditional garb and the associated festivals. 2013 Organization and coordination of two day visit of esteemed geographer Prof. Harm de Blij to Middlesex Community College to speak with faculty and students regarding the importance of geographic literacy. Prof. de Blij is a prolific author, and served as the Geography Editor on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and as editor at the National Geographic Society. His talk entitled “The Power of Place: A Personal Geography” was attended by 100 students and faculty of the college. 09/19/13.

2013 Organization of Middlesex Community College Cultural Anthropology student off-campus event, in which students attended a panel discussion “Disaster Relief in Haiti and Beyond.” Panel speakers included actor Sean Penn, Lt. Gen. Ken Keen (commander of Joint Task Force Haiti) and Jarrett Barrios (CEO of the American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts and former state senator).
