Should an employee get hired through exaggerating their qualifications or making false claims, the consequences can be severe. HOW OFTEN DOES THIS HAPPEN? More than 1/3 of HR professionals estimated the average cost of retraining under qualified employees to be more than £2,000 per employee. Just under a 1/3 of organizations had spent more than £10,000 on retraining staff in the last three years – and 8% of organizations had spent more than £40,000.
