• Hopefully students have watched the instructional video prior to session that reviews the 16 career clusters

• To start, remind students about the video and direct them to pages 10 & 11 in the Tracker which they should have completed during the video (writing down one career in each cluster)

Reviewing the Career Clusters

• Ask students to follow along with pages 10 & 11 in their Trackers as you review the Clusters using the Career Clusters posters

• As you review the posters, you can ask students to read the definitions of the clusters to encourage their engagement

• You can briefly mention one or two careers in each clusters

• Ask students if they have any questions about the cluster after reviewing the definition

• If you’re going to use Kahoot -• You’ll direct students to kahoot.it (on a different device

or different tab)

• You’ll click on the link in the mentor PowerPoint and be directed to the game

• A unique PIN will be created which students will input

• You’ll play the game on Kahoot

*note – A guest Kahoot account will only allow a very limited number of players, so that will likely not work for your class

• You’ll ask them to turn to page 12 in their Tracker to shade in the top three Clusters they want to learn more about

• And then to page 43 in their Tracker to write the top three careers/clusters they’re interested in on the lines provided
