    Defense Minister Set Up 3 Committees to Accelerate BIP

    The Defense Ministry in its meeting on 17 April 2012, decided to set up three new committees to procurements andBorder Infrastructure Projects( BIP). The meeting was chaired by Defense Minister A.K.Antony. The committee was alsoset up to decide a whether the Army will get combat aviation assets, and to expedite infrastructure development in theNorthern region that has borders with both China and Pakistan.
