CONGRATULATIONS JULIAN What an amazing effort by Julian Connan for his prize-winning CWA Nepalese craft entry. This will be presented at the CWA Group Conference this month and we are all proud of this outstanding result. Congratulations Julian on your amazing work!
STEM AT CUMNOCKWell done Mr West for initiating and preparing for our STEM activities on Fridays. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) aims to foster inquiring minds, logical reasoning and collaboration skills for students. On Friday we made flying foxes with interesting modifications, kinetic sand and colourful fidget spinners in our K to 6 groupings. We had much enjoyment meeting these challenges and we look forward to more interesting activities in the weeks ahead. Thank you Mr West for leading this program in Term 4!

P & C MEETINGSThank you to those parents who attended the P & C Meeting on Tuesday afternoon. Unfortunately, there were not enough members to form a quorum, but those parents present were consulted on a number of issues as we plan for the remainder of 2017. We would like to thank the P & C for their kind donation of $1000 towards our new laptops, which will be utilised in every classroom. The P & C plays an important role in our school and you are all welcome to attend every third Tuesday of the month.
