Purpose

The primary purpose of the culture experts blog is

to attract new readers to our useful and helpful

content that will bring out a great idea of

culture. We publish useful, helpful, top-of-funnel

content that helps our customers and other

businesses solve their culture problems. By writing

for us you're not only helping business leaders

solve their problems, but adding your own voice

to what it means to have culture in your

company.

Guest Blog Posts Should NOT contain:

We do not publish product news and information, product launches, or other general corporate content that would distract from the use of this website to bring businesses together to come up with the concept of culture in the “blog” area of the website. There is a “news” section that product news and events may be submitted to.

We may offer advertising opportunities in the future, if you are interested in taking advantages of these opportunities you may contact us.

What is in it for you?

Before You BlogQUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF

Questions to ask yourself:

Is what I’m sharing new or different?

Why should anyone care?

Is what I’m saying important? Is there a sense of urgency?

ExclusivityIT’S ALL WE ASK

Exclusivity

We ask that you refrain from posting the blog post on your

website or any other until at least 7 days after it’s been

published on cultureexperts.net. We will promote your

blog during that time frame on our social media

channels.

Anatomy of a blog postWHAT SHOULD IT CONTAIN?

Anatomy of a blog post:

Title:

This is the most important part of your blog post. It’s sometimes your first and only chance to speak to the reader’s interest With

that in mind your blog title should be:

Short and pithy (70 characters max)

Value-oriented (tell your reader how it will help her – 4 ways to unite your sales team)

Body:

This is the 400-700 words in which you have to state your idea and offer value proposition for the reader. Some simple tips:

The most successful blogs impart one big idea

Most people share content before reading it! So it’s very important to

deliver value in the first few sentences of your post.

Sections are good! Use numbers, or bulleted lists or a bolded header to

break the sections into bites

Remember 8th grade English! – Intro and conclusion paragraphs, helps

readers know what to expect and carry forward and easy takeaway

Style and Tone:

Think of our blog as business casual. We’re here to

be smart, informed and solve our reader’s culture

problems. But we are not stuffy, we know we have as

much fun as BuzzFeed.

FQA

When should I submit?

One Week before the desired publication date

What if the deadline’s passed?

Too bad. No, just kidding. We understand things happen,

we can make exceptions if we need to, but we’re busy,

you’re busy, so it’s easier if we don’t have to.

FQA continued

Will my blog be edited?

Yes! We proofread everything we publish – carefully. We do have the right to edit for style, clarity, grammar, spelling and ease of understanding. We’re all writers ourselves and we will do our best to not change your “voice.” We will also do our best to alert you if we make any changes that are beyond what is mentioned above. But keep in mind that deadlines and pressures may not always make that possible.

I still have questions and/or need favors.

Email and/or bring chocolate to [email protected].
