This world is not out of control because God is

in control.

We discussed last week the state of

emergency that the family, consequently the

church is in. Our mountain in this area must

be sieged and overcome from the arena in

which the battle is being fought. First and

foremost the paradigm from which the family

is viewed has been changed so we have tochange that mentality before we can impact

culture.

This world view of family as instituted by Godhas taken on the cultural influence of this

system. A world view serves as a persons

decision making filter, enabling them to makesense of the complex and huge amount ofinformation, experiences, relationships andopportunities they face in life. We have to

clarify what we believe to be important, trueand desirable so that are decisions arecongruous with that belief.

This system has indicted the old traditional family

as irrelevant and problematic for today.

They have attributed the breakup of family to

poverty, racial and sexual inequality, poor livingenvironment, unemployment, and pooreducation. Consequently we have created

government programs to heal the wounds.

Greater sex education, government providedbirth control, rights for children, governmentfunded daycare, etc.

As we have meagerly tried to define the family

unit of this world we have encountered many

obstacles. Unless the mindset is changed, and

by the way a world view or belief system is

established by age 13, and we become

productive in the area of back to the basics of

the Bible, we will find ourselves good fornothing, and trodden under the foot of man.

I want you to understand this section of the natural

family so that I can clearly define the spiritual.

Here is the new norm,

Morals and social structure totally mutable Choice

Experimentation

Self fulfillment

Sexual Gratification

The problem of children

This is the new norm for the western family.

in the scripture for a few minutes.

I want to establish the scriptural structure ofthe family by covenant relationship in the

Bible.

Man.

Why is the solidarity of marriage so

important?

Why do we concentrate on the structure of

the family so heavily?

Marriage is therefore a spiritual system that depends oncovenant.

Not to rob a woman of her identity, identity refers to theeffort of working in unison, not destroying mannishness.

Not to give men a right to abuse their place But a system to reflect the nature of Christ and the church

in the spiritual realm.

Marriages have to align themselves with the Word so thatthe Church can be seen in its proper perspective. Covering,

Protection, Intimacy, Submission You will notice that the same problems the natural family

and marriage is experiencing, the spiritual union of Christand the Church is experiencing.
