Chapter 1

1. Investigate SCR's Web site and learn about the company's history, purpose, and values. Is the site user-friendly? Why or why not? Provide at least four improvements you would suggest to Jesse. I think the site it pretty user friendly, because it’s just a plain page. There is nothing that draws me to the page. It’s a basic page with content easily available. I would suggest redoing the design something that shows the company is a strong IT company. I would add more information about the company as well as reviews from previous clients. I also didn’t like the contact page. I would also recommend under employment description to add a more detailed job description. As well as go into greater detail describing the group.

2. On the SCR intranet, visit the data, forms, and resources libraries and review a sample of the information in each library. What other libraries might be created? Suggest at least two to Jesse. I would include a quick links library that had information needed daily to trainees. I would also as a contact information with all the employees listed or an email tab. There is quite a bit missing.

3. Using the SCR functions and organization listed in the data library; create an organization chart using Microsoft Word, Visio, or a drawing program. Be sure to show your own position on the chart.

1. Citiscape IT specialize in on-site information technology consulting services, IT and network security services, IT

auditing services and general IT consulting and systems integration services.

2. Integrated Computer Services provides IT consulting and network support for small and medium businesses including

managed IT services, cloud computing, network installation and upgrade services, network security, remote data

backup, and network consulting

3. BT Consulting provides application and database, infrastructure, program management, and staffing services to clients

that need to provide the appropriate technology and solutions to their internal and external constituents

4. Integrated IT Systems, Inc. is a global Information Technology staffing and consulting firm specializing in ERP Systems

like SAP, Oracle Apps, e-business, sales and marketing, data warehousing, customer relationship management,

shipping and distribution, finance, materials management, accounting, inventory management, information and

document management, human resources, legal, and more.

Integrated Computer Services was the best website I saw. It really captured my attendance. The page is cleanly presented, with

everything you may be looking for easily accessible. I also liked that the site included who they are partnered with. The site

cleared stated there rates.
