With a natural mechanical aptitude and a knack for troubleshooting, Paul Brokaw has quickly built a strong reputation in the local pump industry in recent years. After working as a marine mechanic for more than 20 years, Paul entered the world of pump service and repair in 2009.
As a service technician for a local distributor, Paul received authorized training and certifications from multiple pump manufacturers. He was eventually promoted to Service Supervisor and led a team of 5 technicians. Paul also served as a certified trainer for the distributor’s flagship product line, Environment One® (he was that manufacturer’s first-ever certified trainer - in the world - in low pressure sewer installation) and gained expert skills in laser shaft alignment and vibration analysis as well. Paul has also been factory trained in the repair of Weir Industrial’s Roto-Jet® high pressure pumps.
In 2015, Paul joined Calkins Technical Products as Service Coordinator. In addition to scheduling and performing service, repairs, and installations, Paul prepares comprehensive reports for customers to help them make educated decisions on repair vs. replacement costs. In addition, Paul provides customer training and laser alignment services.
Paul enjoys assisting and advising customers. Feel free to call him directly at 585-545-1808.
