Improvement Process – Local Improvement Plans
Required for ALL Concentrations not Meeting 100% of Standards - Locate Last 2 Columns (Proficiency Standards) on Data Profile – NR means no improvement plan required
Submit on-line – DUE DATE – September 15, 2012
Plans will be reviewed by Coordinators and suggestions returned to LEA
Final Approval of Plans will be made by Executive Assistant, Office of CTE Accountability and Support – Due Date – October 15, 2012
Improvement Process – Local Improvement Plans
WVDE CTE staff will discuss Improvement Plans whenever in schools and file report on progress
IMPORTANT - Concentrations that have been on improvement plans for the past three years and do not meet standards this year 2012-13 will not be funded in FY 2014
LEA is required to develop a system to monitor plans
Improvement Process - Targeted Assistance
LEAs/Counties will receive on-visit
Will schedule visits beginning late October
Required to incorporate report findings in LEA Plan
