RIGIDITY LIGHTWEIGHT COST REDUCTION PROTOTYPEEnvironment resistant / Resistant / Integrated functions cost-limited solutions / Flexibility
CT2MC OFFERS COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES TO YOUR PRODUCT / PROJECT:
PROJECT MANAGEMENTCT2MC runs a unique project management methodology to optimize work efficiency.
It ensure a smooth running process fitting your development requirements.
Our product development team assembles mechanical and material knowledge with
electronic and embedded systems competences.
It guarantees your product will be lightweight, function integrated, efficient and ready
to use as a serial product.
Our first development is the patented SPYBOAT technology, a nautical drone based on
a lightweight composite materials structure
CT2MC develops your products by integrating brand new top-notch electronic functions
integration if needed to break conventional integration.

An engineering unit specialised in design, dimensioning
and process development, to provide our customers with
optimized products.
A product development unit specialised in engineering
and electronic functions integration.
CT2MC is an engineering and innovative company based in the French Alps.
Our company comprises two business units:
Our engineers offer you the CT2MC engineering and
innovation knowledge to achieve your challenges.
We use a powerful simulation and design validation
software: Solidworks Premium.
Thanks to our process development skills we bring our
expertise to your project in the manufacturing process
such as high temperature injection process, hybrid
process…
We have an expert knowledge of thermoset processes
(RTM, injection, infusion, hands lay-up, prepreg) and
also thermoplastic processes (injection in mold,
pultrusion).
Our complete comprehension of your needs help us
developing the most cost effective and cost efficient
manufacturing process.
MANUFACTURING
Identifying and dealing with manufacturing problems
at the design stage, saves considerable cost
downstream.
Many composite components require draping of
multiple plies over curved surfaces. This could lead to
material shearing, excessive stretching and a marked
change of fiber orientation. Excessive shearing can lead
to manufacturing difficulties, and if the fibers deviate
considerably from the desired orientation, it could lead
to a compromised structure.
Our composite knowledge help us to predict the fiber
orientations and shear of unidirectional and woven
plies as they drape around curved and complex
surfaces.
STRESS ANALYSISOur engineers study the behavior of composite
structures across the loading spectrum. We can perform
both linear and nonlinear analysis to predict the
response of these structures accurately.
> Linear and Nonlinear Static
> Linear and Nonlinear Transient
> Normal Modes
> Buckling
> Direct or Modal Frequency Response
> Direct or Modal Complex Eigenvalue
> Direct or Modal Transient Response
> Heat Transfer
> Thermal-Structural Analysis
OPTIMISATION :Our engineers optimize designs and save material costs.
Composite materials can be engineered to suite specific
applications. However, trial and error designs with
physical prototyping can be very expensive. We
optimize shape, size and topology to save material
costs, by minimizing weight and solving individual ply
thickness and orientations.
LAMINATE MODELER
CAPABILITIES
> Calculate failure indices
> Optimize materials, plies and layups
> Size zones efficiently
> Simulate manufacturability with robust draping algorithm
> Calculate and store fiber angle and shear data for
every ply on every finite element
> Interface with multiple analysis tools
> Generate manufacturing data
BENEFITS
> Develop optimized laminated structures
> Enable collaboration between designer, analyst and
manufacturer
> Automate the design process
> Identify problems before manufacture
> Share composites design data with CAD products
PROCESS DEVELOPMENT
ENGINEERINGDESIGN
FAILURE ANALYSISDue to the heterogeneous and layered nature of
composites, multiple failure mechanisms affect the
performance of composites during service.
The damage buildup can be gradual leading to
performance degradation and to ultimate failure.
PROGRESSIVE FAILURE ANALYSIS :Predict progression of damage in the materials using
any of the multiple failure criteria including Maximum
Stress, Maximum Strain, Hill, Hoffman, Tsai-Wu,
Hashin, Puck, Hashin-Tape or Hashin-Fabric.
DELAMINATION :
Analyze weakening and failure of bond
between the plies using Cohesive Zone
Modeling technique.
