CST MWS - MWO IntegrationPerform a simulation
Create a layout in MWO
Select CST MICROWAVE STUDIO®to be used as EM-Simulator

CST MWS - MWO IntegrationPerform a simulation
Start simulation in MWO.
Structure and solver settings are automatically transferred to CST MWS and the simulation is started.
CST MWS - results are tranferred back to MWO.

CST MWS - MWO IntegrationSolver Options
F-Solver defaults:- TET-Mesh- Adaptive meshing- Frequency sweep
Frequency settings for MWS can chosen differently to global MWO setting(e.g. include DC for MWS T-Solver)
Uses the single-ended functionality in MWS
Allows the modification of the geometry or the solver and mesh settings in the MWS modeler

Open in native Editor.
After running simulation:• View 2D/3D results
(port modes, field monitors, …)• Apply advanced postprocessing
CST MWS - MWO IntegrationEdit structure/view results
Before starting simulation: • Add 3D structures in modeller or
by import (e.g. bondwires, connectors, vias, …)
• Edit solver-/mesh-settings
