This session helps you to build a case for CSR from the bottom up using business principles and development framework. • What is CSR and how can you approach it? Why is it important? • Business and Society Linkage. What areas must be covered?

• Stakeholders. • Stakeholder’s dynamics. • Justification for emergence of CSR and areas covered under it. • The importance of CSR in creating a corporation’s brand value and reputation • Connecting good CSR with company performance • Sustainability and CSR.

Module Two: This module talks about stakeholder’s engagement and mapping. • What is a stakeholder? • Stakeholder mapping • Value chain of business and impact on stakeholders.

Module Three: This module is designed for better understanding about stakeholders from world bank perspective and various performance standards. Module Four: Community Engagement • Stakeholders and Community • Community engagement • Community engagement principals.

Module Five: Mapping Social Opportunities This modules deal with evaluating the impact of CSR Programs. This module introduces some tools for effective CSR management of individual projects and portfolios. It covers methods to help you to choose the most appropriate projects for your Company from a range of options using simple assessment tools to evaluate individual projects based on: • Mapping social impact of value chain • The impact of the CSR project on the company • The impact of the CSR project on society • Organizing for CSR

Module Six: Change Management and CSR This module aims to equip you with an overview of current change management theories and how they can be applied to a creating a Strategic CSR Program from the foundations of a Responsive CSR Program. The module merges input from CSR with Management and Strategic models of change. It will also lay down the steps to be taken by the participants to develop Strategic CSR Plan.
