• A device to remotely control a garage door

• Who will it benefit?– People who forget to close their garage doors – Those who desire an extra level of security and

control for their garage door

Introduction

• Project Glide will use several digital devices:– DAA (connect to phone)

– DTMF Decoder (to interpret info from user)

– Voice Chip (to play back messages to the user)

– MOSIS Chip (to control the system)

Concerns/Issues

• The DAA and DTMF decoder functioning as we think they will– Risk of interfacing with the schools phone line.

• Compatibility of our major blocks– I/O Voltages, Digital/Analog

• Interfacing with the garage door opener
